The Glasshouse commitment

Helping students reconnect, one school day at a time.

Since 2014, Glasshouse has brought a family-centered approach to Indiana services. Our executive team’s 30-plus years of experience guide our commitment to respectful relationships, practical coaching and purposeful support.

Listen before planning

Attendance barriers can involve routines, transportation, school engagement, family stress or other concerns. We work with the youth and caregiver to understand the situation and identify the supports that may help.

Create a realistic attendance plan

We help families map out morning and evening routines, transportation arrangements, communication steps and achievable goals. The plan gives students and caregivers specific actions to practice.

Coach skills that support attendance

Youth can practice self-advocacy, asking for help, managing frustration, organizing school materials and setting goals. Caregivers receive support with routines, positive encouragement and follow-through.

Connect school, home and community

With appropriate authorization, we coordinate with school staff and referring professionals, review attendance progress and adjust supports. Our focus is engagement and skill building; school and court decisions remain with the responsible authorities.
